Learning Outcomes 

• Compile list of contracts/accounts that require beneficiary designations. 
• Identify beneficiaries for assets. 
• Determine that designated beneficiaries do not conflict with a will or trust. 
• Apply a way to keep all beneficiary designations up to date. 
• Select the proper executor(s) for your estate. 
• Explain the responsibilities involved in being appointed as an executor. 
• Choose a guardian for minor children. 
• Discuss the important duties required of a guardian. Identify additional estate planning documents.
